  1. 1. Okonventionella varumärken : - form, färg, doft, ljud

    Författare :Erika Lunell; Marianne Levin; Per Jonas Nordell; Stockholms universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation deals with new types of marks – shape marks, colour marks, feel marks, hologram marks, motion marks, sound marks, scent marks and taste marks – which, as an option or complement to conventional word or figure marks, are being increasingly used as trade marks in the market place. This trend gives rise to legal and practical questions related to the application of already established trade mark principles in the new context. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Evolutionary Ecology of Floral Traits in Fragrant Orchids

    Författare :Elodie Chapurlat; Nina Sletvold; Jon Ågren; Magne Friberg; Kathleen Kay; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; agents of selection; diurnal and nocturnal pollination; divergent selection; field experiment; floral evolution; floral scent; Gymnadenia conopsea; Gymnadenia densiflora; Orchidaceae; phenotypic selection; pollinator-mediated selection; spatial variation; scent rhythm;

    Sammanfattning : Why are flowers so diverse? Much of floral evolution is thought to be driven by pollinator-mediated selection. However, the connection between macroevolutionary patterns of floral diversity and microevolutionary processes remains poorly understood. In this thesis, I have used the fragrant orchids Gymnadenia conopsea s.s. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Visual signs like skin color are just one of many factors in how white femininity is being articulated and interpreted. Other important components are the concept of a Eurocentric and linear temporality and the importance of being situated as modern. LÄS MER

  5. 5. The evolutionary ecology of plant reproductive diversity and floral signals : Mating system and floral scent in Arabis alpina

    Författare :Hampus Petrén; Biodiversitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Arabis alpina; floral scent; intraspecific variation; mating system; parental conflict; phenotypic plasticity; phenotypic selection; reproductive isolation; speciation; volatile organic compound VOC ;

    Sammanfattning : Flowering plants display an extraordinary floral- and reproductive diversity. Variation in the size, shape, colour and scent of flowers, and in systems and strategies of mating, is ubiquitous in comparisons of different species, but also exists among different conspecific populations.
