    Sammanfattning : The main objective for digital image- and video camera systems is to reproduce a real-world scene in such a way that a high visual quality is obtained. A crucial aspect in this regard is, naturally, the quality of the hardware components of the camera device. There are, however, always some undesired limitations imposed by the sensor of the camera.     Sammanfattning : DNA evidence, linking perpetrators to crime scenes, is central to many legal proceedings. However, crime scene samples often contain extraneous substances that may interfere with the PCR-based forensic analysis, resulting in partial or negative DNA profiles.     Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the functions of prevalent threshold-like spaces such as windows, stairs, doors or balconies in theatre plays from the height of the Romantic era in France (1828-1835). The study coins the concept of « para-espaces » (para-spaces) and elucidates the way they mediate between different divisions of the spatiotemporal structure of a play. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Richard Wagner besaß eine eminente schauspielerische Begabung, war aber physisch für die pro­fessionelle Schauspielerlaufbahn ungeeignet. Er kompensierte diese Verhinderung auf mehrere Weisen: Zum einen las und sang er sehr gerne dramatische Texte vor. Zum zweiten betätigte er sich als Regisseur, und zwar als erster Regisseur im modernen Sinne. LÄS MER
