    Sammanfattning : Focusing on a lived and practiced tolerance, this thesis sets out to explore questions concerning education for tolerance, and, specifically, how teachers and educators can prepare students to become tolerating subjects in their everyday encounters with others. Taking its point of departure in real and fictional classroom situations, the overall purpose of the study is to explore the ethical and transformative potential inherent in education for tolerance.     Sammanfattning : This thesis focuses on how middle school children organize peer group relationships through various forms of so-called relational talk (Evaldsson, 2007), while they also negotiate and more generally make sense of friendships and romantic relationships. Prior micro-sociological research has demonstrated how children in everyday language practices through, for example, teasing, assessments, and storytelling—articulate and manage social relationships and behaviors, moral views, and shared cultural knowledge, thereby constructing their emerging social worlds (see Goodwin & Kyratzis, 2011, for an overview).     Sammanfattning : The aims of this thesis were to study how the students in the work experience period of The Study Program in Public Health and Education experienced how the discipline of education could contribute to health promotion in practice and if whether the integration between theory and practice in this case reached the appropriate higher education standard. The data collection comprised semi-structured interviews, the student’s descriptions of the trainee post, their aims and objectives and the follow-up and evaluation of their aims and objectives.
