A seepage measuring system is therefore a vitalpart of an embankment dam’s monitoring system.     Sammanfattning : This thesis is about analyzing genetic differences among isolates of Francisella tularensis – the tularemia-causing bacterium. To elucidate how these bacterial isolates are related, and their geographical and genetic origins, I have developed typing assays for Francisella and used them to study the epidemiology of tularemia. The study was conducted during the course of a project in which ninth-grade students contributed entries to a common blog in the form of a diary written by individuals who experienced the Second World War.
