1. Self-Switching Diodes for Zero-Bias Terahertz Detection
Sammanfattning : The self-switching diode (SSD) has been investigated as a potential terahertz detector in recent years. The SSD accomplishes a non-linear current-voltage relation through a field-effect, which enables detection at zero bias from microwave up to terahertz frequencies. In this work, SSDs were realised in two new materials; InAs and graphene. LÄS MER
2. Mobility Management and Climate Change Policies
Sammanfattning : Globally, the transport system faces a paradigmatic shift where, in addition to increased local traffic problems, climate change and depletion of fossil oil reserves will foster a successive transition to renewable fuels and a need for more resource-efficient mobility management and communication alternatives. Foresighted countries, cities or companies taking the lead in adapting to these tougher conditions might well not only solve those problems, but also turn the problems into business advantages. 3.
4. Subsyndromal Depression in Very Old Persons
Sammanfattning : Background: Subsyndromal depression (SSD) or subthreshold depression is a common affective condition that can be described as depressiveness below the threshold of what is called a syndromal or a major depressive episode. The point prevalence for SSD has been reported to be about 10% in the community, or about two or three times higher than the prevalence for syndromal depression. LÄS MER
5. Orofacial function in children with speech sound disorders
Sammanfattning : Speech sound disorder (SSD) is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders in children and can have different aetiologies and outcome. Speech difficulties often co-exist with other disorders, such as motor difficulties and orofacial dysfunction. These co-existent difficulties may have the same biological background. LÄS MER
