    Sammanfattning : The relationship between Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is not entirely elucidated and a clonal relation may be present more often than previously believed. Mechanisms of tumour progression and resistance to therapy are poorly understood.Between 1974 and 1994 all individuals in Sweden with both HL and NHL were identified. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Prognostic signficance of tumor cell markers in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma with special emphasis on lymphoma localization

    Detta är en avhandling från Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Författare :Maysaa Abdulla; Rose-Marie Amini; Gunilla Enblad; Wolfram Klapper; [2020]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common type of high-grade B-cell lymphoma with different clinical, morphological, immunophenotypical, and molecular features. DLBCL is curable in 60-70% of patients when treated with standard immunochemotherapy R-CHOP (rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone). LÄS MER

  3. 3. Hodgkin Lymphoma in children, adolescents and young adults

    Detta är en avhandling från Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Sammanfattning : Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) is a heterogeneous condition varying from engaging one single lymph node site to a widespread condition. The prognosis with contemporary treatment is excellent for the vast majority. However, the treatment might cause severe late adverse effects in a proportion of the affected individuals. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Hodgkin Lymphoma – an Interplay Between Tumour Cell and Microenvironment

    Detta är en avhandling från Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Författare :Ingrid Glimelius; Gunilla Enblad; Daniel Molin; Rose-Marie Amini; Marie Fischer; Volker Diehl; [2009]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICINE; MEDICIN; Oncology; onkologi;

    Sammanfattning : Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) is a malignant disorder characterised by few tumour cells surrounded by a massive infiltrate of inflammatory cells, fibrosis, and microvessels. Therefore, it is a good model in which to study the interplay between tumour cells and the microenvironment. LÄS MER
