  1. 21. Enabling the user - Exploring methodological effects on user requirements elicitation

    Författare :Pontus Wallgren; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; requirement elicitation; enable; user; product development;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns centred product development and more specifically how methodological choices in user requirements elicitation can enable the users to communicate their requirements to the product developers. During the development process choices have to be made concerning what methodology to use for eliciting user requirements. LÄS MER

  2. 22. Prediction horizon requirement  in control and extreme load analyses for survivability : Advancements to improve the performance of wave energy technologies

    Författare :Zahra Shahroozi; Jens Engström; Malin Göteman; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; control; optimal velocity; non-causality; maximum power output; extreme waves; wave tank experiment; end-stop compression; wave breaking slamming; PTO damping; return level; return period; peak-over-threshold;

    Sammanfattning : The main objective of wave energy converters (WECs) is to ensure reliable electricity production at a competitive cost. Two challenges to achieving this are ensuring an efficient energy conversion and offshore survivability. LÄS MER

  3. 23. Insurance: solvency and valuation

    Författare :Jonas Alm; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; risk aggregation; dependence modeling; solvency capital requirement; market-consistent valuation; market-consistent valuation;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns mathematical and statistical concepts useful to assess an insurer's risk of insolvency. We study company internal claims payment data and publicly available market data with the aim of estimating (the right tail of) the insurer's aggregate loss distribution. LÄS MER

  4. 24. Logistic Time Requirements in Fast Sea Transportation Systems

    Författare :Thore E.W. Hagman; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; cycle time; high speed; terminal time; performance; sailing time; total time; fuel consumption; logistic time requirement; power demand;

    Sammanfattning : The dissertation deals with logistic time requirements in fast sea transportation systems and the benefit of the application of the total time definition. The transportation engineering approach, to create new transport systems with high effectiveness, high service levels and also with high resource utilisation, has to some extent gained acceptance in the transportation industry, but it has not been fully realised that the transport system and the traffic system are not identical and that by focusing on high performance of the traffic system no guarantee is given that the transport system will become effective. 5. 25. Utilizing Continuous Integration environments for evaluation of software quality attributes

    Författare :Liang Yu; Emil Alégroth; Panagiota Chatzipetrou; Jennifer Horkoff; Blekinge Tekniska Högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Quality attributes; Quality metrics; Non-functional requirement; Continuous integration; Empirical software engineering; Programvaruteknik; Software Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Software quality attributes are properties that reflect the quality of a software system, and Non-functional requirements (NFRs) are the specifications that define how a software system should perform to reach a desired level of goals of the quality attributes.The evaluation of quality attributes is important to show the effectiveness of a system in meeting customers' NFRs.
