    Sammanfattning : Four interventions are analysed: the activity guarantee for long term unemployed, the customs control of border crossers, the cognitive skills training program and the conditions of incarceration among prison inmates.     Sammanfattning : This present thesis explores the hermeneutical theology of the North American catholic theologian David Tracy and the challenges plurality poses to modern theology. According to Tracy this challenge is to find a way to be open to plurality and the enrichments it brings, but that openness should not degenerate into a repressive tolerance, where anything can be said because nothing is taken seriously.     Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the language and image of late Swedish absolutism. The sources used are royal medals and royal speeches and ceremonies at the Diets.
