  1. 21. Solar district heating for low energy residential areas

    Författare :Martin Andersen; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; District heating; simulation; renewable energy; solar thermal; 4DH;

    Sammanfattning : The integration of a solar thermal system into a district heating network can be a cost-effective solution, especially for new low-energy residential areas. Because of this, many new small solar district heating systems are built at the same time as the buildings, allowing for a more holistic approach to the design and construction. LÄS MER

  2. 22. Heat demand profiles of buildings' energy conservation measures and their impact on renewable and resource efficient district heating systems

    Författare :Lukas Lundström; Erik Dahlquist; Fredrik Wallin; Björn Karlsson; Jan Akander; Sven Werner; Mälardalens högskola; []

    Sammanfattning : Increased energy performance of the building stock of European Union is seen as an important measure towards mitigating climate change, increasing resource utilisation efficiency and energy supply security. Whether to improve the supply-side, the demand-side or both is an open issue. LÄS MER

  3. 23. Is energy efficiency the forgotten key to successful energy policy? : Investigating the Swedish case

    Författare :Maria Xylia; Semida Silveira; Jenny Palm; KTH; []

    Sammanfattning : Sweden aims to become one of the first fossil-free welfare countries in the world. In 2009, specific energy and climate policy targets were announced for 2020, which exceed the ambition of respective EU targets in some areas. LÄS MER

  4. 24. Supermarket refrigeration systems for demand response in smart grids

    Författare :Tommie Månsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Supermarket; Demand-side management; Smart-Grid; Energy efficiency; Food retail; Demandresponse; Thermal modelling; Refrigerated Display Cabinet; Renewable energy;

    Sammanfattning : With an increasing share of intermittent renewable energy sources in the electrical grid, the need for adapting the demand to the available supply of electricity becomes increasingly important. Within this thesis, the demand response capacity by supermarket refrigeration systems are investigated and methods for enabling it is developed. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Hydro-Kinetic Energy Conversion : Resource and Technology

    Författare :Mårten Grabbe; Mats Leijon; Cameron Johnstone; Uppsala universitet; []
