    Sammanfattning : Stockholm County is a post-industrial Swedish region characterized by high levels of mobility and technologization as well as ethnic and religious diversity. Among its religious minorities exist various strands of charismatic Christianity, some of which originate from the Pentecostal revival of the early 20th century and some of which belong to more recent movements.     Sammanfattning : In this dissertation, the author argues that the post-process movement towards genre-based writing pedagogies is reproducing the logic of neoliberal or free-market ideology. By analyzing the relationship between three paradigms of sovereignty (feudalism, the nation-state, and globalization) and institutionalized language, the author demonstrates that teaching writing as multiple and genred as opposed to teaching it as a single, abstract skill is no a more rational approach, but rather a differently rational approach.     Sammanfattning : The north Indian pilgrimage town Rishikesh has since the late 1990’s become something of a center for the international scene of Modern Advaita. An increasing number of teachers and adherents from mainly Western countries have started to gather there for a few weeks each spring to engage in satsang, a form of dialogical lectures, in these cases based on contemporary interpretations of the classical Indian philosophical system Advaita (“nondual”) Vedānta.     Sammanfattning : This study explores the life and work of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati (1874-1937), a Vaishnava guru of the school of Chaitanya (1486-1534), who, at a time that Hindu non-dualism was most prominent, managed to establish a pan-Indian movement for the modern revival of traditional personalist bhakti that today encompasses both Indian and non-Indian populations throughout the world. To most historians, the period between 1815 and 1914 is known as Britain’s Imperial Century, when the power of British cultural influence was at its height, most especially in Calcutta, India, the jewel of the British crown.
