21. Internet-based psychological interventions for alcohol use disorder. Treating addiction and supporting concerned significant others
Sammanfattning : The aim of this doctoral thesis was to investigate the efficacy of three internet interventions for alcohol problems: (1) high-intensity internet treatment (ePlus) compared to (2) an unguided low-intensity internet treatment (eChange) and waiting list (WL) conditions, for people with AUD (Study I, with a long-term follow-up in Study II), and (3) an internet-based version of CRAFT for concerned significant others (CSOs) to individuals with alcohol use disorder (AUD) (Study III). The primary outcomes in Study I and Study II were two measures of the participants’ alcohol consumption: number of standard drinks per week and number of heavy drinking days (HDDs) per week. LÄS MER

23. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma : population-based studies of relapse and cardiac complications
Sammanfattning : Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is an aggressive life-threatening disease, but it is often possible to cure with immunochemotherapy. Not responding to primary treatment or having a relapse is associated with poor prognosis. However, it has not been well described how large the proportion of patients with relapsed/refractory disease is. LÄS MER
24. Molecular monitoring of engraftment and leukemia relapse after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
Sammanfattning : Relapse of the underlying disease, graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and infections are the main complications after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). A lower tumor burden increases the likelihood of cure after both chemotherapy and HSCT. LÄS MER
25. Blood and CSF biomarkers for investigation of the immunopathogenesis of relapse in Multiple Sclerosis
Sammanfattning : Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system (CNS). MS usually starts with a relapsing-remitting course (RRMS) that later converts into a secondary progressive phase (SPMS). While inflammation is considered predominating in RRMS, neurodegenerative processes are probably more important in SPMS. LÄS MER
