  1. 6. Global Optimization in Computer Vision: Convexity, Cuts and Approximation Algorithms

    Författare :Carl Olsson; Matematik LTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Spectral Relaxation; Normalized Cuts; Continuous Cuts; Segmentation; Generalized Convexity; 3D-Reconstruction; Global Optimization; Multiple View Geometry; Trust Region Subproblem;

    Sammanfattning : Computer vision is today a wide research area including topics like robot vision, image analysis, pattern recognition, medical imaging and geometric reconstruction problems. Over the past decades there has been a rapid development in understanding and modeling different computer vision applications. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Planar segmentation for Geometric Reverse Engineering using data from a laser profile scanner mounted on an industrial robot

    Författare :Mohamed Rahayem; Björn Arén; Johan Kjellander; Mathias Broxvall; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Geometric Reverse Engineering; 3D measurement systems; laser scanner; planar segmentation; region-growing; Computer and systems science; Data- och systemvetenskap; Computer and Systems Science; Data- och systemvetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Laser scanners in combination with devices for accurate orientation like Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) are often used in Geometric Reverse Engineering (GRE) to measure point data. The industrial robot as a device for orientation has relatively low accuracy but the advantage of being numerically controlled, fast, flexible, rather cheap and compatible with industrial environments. 3. 8. Higher-Order Regularization in Computer Vision

    Författare :Johannes Ulén; Matematik LTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Computer Vision; Regularization; Segmentation; Dense Stereo;

    Sammanfattning : At the core of many computer vision models lies the minimization of an objective function consisting of a sum of functions with few arguments. The order of the objective function is defined as the highest number of arguments of any summand. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Methods for quantitative analysis of myocardial perfusion SPECT : validated with magnetic resonance imaging, phantom studies and expert readers

    Författare :Helen Fransson; Matematik LTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Segmentation; Quantification; Spline; Image registration; Cardiac image analysis; Myocardial perfusion SPECT;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, methods for automated analysis of myocardial perfusion single photon emission computer tomography (myocardial perfusion SPECT, MPS) images have been successfully developed and evaluated. MPS images show the perfusion of the myocardium and are used for diagnosing patients with suspected ischemic heart disease. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Supervised and Unsupervised Deep Learning Models for Flood Detection

    Författare :Ritu Yadav; Yifang Ban; Andrea Nascetti; Nicolas Audebert; KTH; []

    Sammanfattning : Human civilization has an increasingly powerful influence on the earthsystem. Affected by climate change and land-use change, floods are occurringacross the globe and are expected to increase in the coming years. Currentsituations urge more focus on efficient monitoring of floods and detecting impactedareas. LÄS MER
