  1. 1. Effect of the quinoline-3-carboxamide ABR-215757 during inflammation

    Detta är en avhandling från Immunology

    Författare :Sofia Helmersson; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; [2013]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : ABR-215757 (5757) is a quinoline-3-carboxamide (Q-compound) currently in clinical development for systemic sclerosis. Q-compounds have shown efficacy in several different models of autoimmune diseases such as experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) and collagen induced arthritis. However, the mechanism of action is still poorly understood. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Metabolism of quinoline 3-carboxamide compounds, a group of synthetic immunomodulators, in various species

    Detta är en avhandling från Helen Tuvesson, Active Biotech Research AB, Box 724, 221 07 Lund

    Författare :Helen Tuvesson; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; [2004]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; enzymologi; Proteiner; enzymology; Proteins; Gastroenterologi; Gastro-enterology; pharmacokinetics; enzyme kinetics; quinoline 3-carboxamides; Keywords: Metabolism; cytochrome P450;

    Sammanfattning : Cytochrome P450 (CYP) is involved in the metabolism of the majority of clinically used drugs. We have studied the CYP mediated metabolism of quinoline 3-carboxamides, a group of synthetic immunomodulators in liver microsomal preparations from various species. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Effect of quinoline-3-carboxamides on myeloid cells in inflammation and cancer

    Detta är en avhandling från Immunology, Experimental Medical Science, Lund University

    Författare :Adnan Deronic; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; [2015]
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Quinoline-3-carboxamide; myeloid cell; inflammation; cancer; peritonitis; mammary carcinoma; fibrosis;

    Sammanfattning : The quinoline-3-carboxamides (Q compounds) are a family of small molecules that ameliorate various types of murine inflammatory autoimmune disease. One such compound has also demonstrated anti-tumor effects in murine tumor models. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Tolerance and Immunity: Opposite Outcomes of Microbial Antigen Stimulation

    Detta är en avhandling från Section for Immunology, Lund University

    Författare :Lena Eroukhmanoff; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; [2010]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; TLR2; Tolerance; quinoline-3-carboxamide; Anergy; Foxp3; iNOS; IFN-β; CD4 splenic DCs;

    Sammanfattning : The immune system is remarkable in many ways. It exerts immunity to defend us from foreign pathogens, while it is also responsible for maintaining tolerance to avoid autoimmune diseases and allergy. This thesis includes three separate papers concerning both tolerance and immunity. LÄS MER

  5. 5. S100A9 in inflammatory disease: a potential target for amelioration

    Detta är en avhandling från Lund University: Faculty of Medicine

    Författare :Sahar Tahvili; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; [2018]
    Nyckelord :Quinoline-3-carboxamide; Myeloid cell; Type 1 diabetes; Cancer; S100A9;

    Sammanfattning : The quinoline-3-carboxamides (Q compounds) are a family of small molecules with immunomodulatory functions that have shown efficacy in various murine models of inflammatory diseases. One such compound has demonstrated antitumor effects in murine models. Q compounds bind to S100A9, thereby preventing its ligation to TLR4 and RAGE. LÄS MER
