  1. 6. Traceability in continuous processes : applied to ore refinement processes

    Författare :Björn Kvarnström; Josse De Baerdemaeker; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Kvalitetsteknik; Quality Technology and Management;

    Sammanfattning : Introduction and purpose: Traceability is central for the identification of the root cause(s) behind a product deviation and thus to achieve a product and process quality that is both high and even. Continuous processes contain several characteristics complicating traceability which are not usually discussed in the scientific literature. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Post-decision Processes : Consolidation and value conflicts in decision making

    Författare :Sanny Shamoun; Ola Svenson; Rob Ranyard; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Decision making; post-decision processes; differentiation and consolidation; value conflicts; Psychology; Psykologi;

    Sammanfattning : The studies in the present thesis focus on post-decision processes using the theoretical framework of Differentiation and Consolidation Theory. This thesis consists of three studies. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Real Property Processes : An explorative study of property institutions in Belarus

    Författare :Marina Vaskovich; Peter Ekbäck; Hans Mattsson; Jaap Zevenbergen; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Land administration; institutions; transaction costs; land tenure; classification of property rights; ontological modelling of the real property processes; property formation; property transaction;

    Sammanfattning : This work aims at advancing the scientific understanding of the real property processes stimulating the Belarusian property market specifically in order to promote its development. For a property market to operate efficiently, real properties ought to be able to be smoothly created and securely transferred with the aid of real property processes. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Climate change adaptation processes : Regional and sectoral stakeholder perspectives

    Författare :Karin André; Björn-Ola Linnér; Louise Simonsson; Anna Jonsson; Kate Lonsdale; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Adaptation processes; adaptive capacity; climate change; forestry; participatory methods; perceptions; private and public organizations; risks; roles; stakeholder dialogues; stakeholders; Sweden; transdisciplinarity; urban regions; Anpassningskapacitet; anpassningsprocesser; deltagandemetoder; intressenter; intressentdialoger; klimatförändringar; privata och offentliga organisationer; risker; roller; skogsbruk; Sverige; transdisciplinaritet; uppfattningar; urbana regioner;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis analyses how societal adaptation processes in public and private sectors at the regional to local level in Sweden are enacted. The thesis pays particular attention to critical factors that constrain or enable adaptation by focussing on: who are the stakeholders, how do different stakeholders perceive their capacity to adapt, and the role of stakeholder interaction in facilitating adaptation processes A combination of two analytical perspectives is used where one is based on key concepts within adaptation literature, and the other draws on boundary crossing and transdisciplinary knowledge production (stakeholders, adaptive capacity, and science-based stakeholder dialogues). 5. 10. Fractionation of Cu and Fe isotopes in metal-rich mine sites : biotic and abiotic processes

    Författare :Nathalie Pérez Rodríguez; Magnus Land; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Cu and Fe isotopes; fractionation; tailings; plants; phytoremediation; organic amendments; soil bacteria; Cu and Fe cycle; covellite; redox processes; Applied Geology; Tillämpad geologi;

    Sammanfattning : After mineral exploitation the residual grinded and milled material, rich in sulphide minerals and heavy metals, is often left exposed to the atmospheric variables. This weathered mine waste material can lead to the formation of acid mine drainage (AMD) which has negative effects to the environment. LÄS MER
