Sammanfattning : Thermal barrier coatings, TBCs, are used in gas turbines as a thermal shield resulting in lower temperature in coated components. The decrease of temperature allows higher gas temperatures in the turbine, which increase the efficiency. LÄS MER
2. Pharmacometric Investigations of Prediction Precision and Advances of Models for Composite Scale Data
Sammanfattning : Clinical trials are needed to evaluate new treatments. In late-stage clinical trials, failures are mostly due to lack of efficacy. Fit-for-purpose analysis methods will likely increase the success rates and advance drug development by providing higher precision to support decisions such as go/no-go, dose selection, or sample size. Sammanfattning : Much of earlier work on predictive models for accidents has been focused on rural traffic or urban intersections. This work has aimed at identifying and investigating possible improvements to predictive models for accidents on urban links. A special focus has been on the accidents of vulnerable road users. 4. Fatigue life prediction of additively manufactured ductile nickel-based superalloys : Constitutive and crack initiation modelling
Sammanfattning : This dissertation was produced at the Division of Solid Mechanics at Linköping University, and is the final result of a project that included mechanical testing and modelling of an additively manufactured ductile nickel-based superalloy. The main objective of the work presented in this thesis was to investigate and model the cyclic behaviour and the fatigue life behaviour of an additively manufactured ductile nickel-based superalloy, with emphasis on modelling the stabilised material behaviour, by which fatigue life predictions can be based upon. Sammanfattning : Cities are always confronted with transition and adaptation. Awareness on urban environmental quality is leading the vision about the built environment’s resilience and sustainability, highlighting the importance of a multidisciplinary framework for urbanisation processes. LÄS MER
