    Sammanfattning : Despite the current preventive strategies sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are rising. This thesis presents a model with the aim of improving the prevention of STIs.     Sammanfattning : The initial objective of this thesis was to design a method in order to identify individuals, with a back pain which was in risk of deteriorating during the military service.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis was to investigate factors affecting attendance in screening for cervical cancer, and to evaluate various measures aimed at increasing compliance to self-administered postal questionnaires and screening for cervical cancer.
