    Sammanfattning : Freedom from external control is one prerequisite for democracy. In the hellenistic period the Greek city-states are thought to have lost their independence due to the establishment of the hellenistic hegemonies, and thereby also lost their possibilities of democratic government and of pursuing a foreign policy of their own.     Sammanfattning : The over-arching objectives of this thesis were to formulate a method to describe the consequences of traffic casualties, and to explain the influence of different traffic engineering factors on these consequences for society and individuals over time.     Sammanfattning : Barnahus in Sweden exist to improve investigations and the collaboration between public agencies when children are suspected being victims of physical and/or sexual abuse. Barnahus are multi-agency collaborations that bring together local authority child welfare services, the police, public prosecutors, paediatric medicine, forensic medicine, and child- and adolescent psychiatry in a child-friendly setting.
