    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is to establish, describe and present a term list; based upon word level operations of Avot Yeshurun, as used within the framework of a given literary context (metonymy) and adapted by the poet to a given language environment (poems in New Hebrew).Aided by terminological methods of description, a classification of the poet's working terminology is conducted, based upon linguistic and, thematic categories, composed in the light of concept-oriented literary criticism in Israel, the issue of transnationality and the meta-time approach typical of holocaust literature.     Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the language and style used in the poem Evangeliorum Libri Quattuor by the fourth-century Christian poet Juvencus.     Sammanfattning : According to common scholarly opinion, early Arabic poetry encompasses a distinct genre which laments the dead, and which is the specific Arabic realisation of a universal, cross-culturally widespread genre of lamentation. Moreover, this genre — which commonly is referred to as ‘elegy’, but in the thesis, as ‘threnody’ — is identified with the type of poetry that in Arabic poetics is called riṯāʼ or marṯiya. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Atmospheric and Geological Entanglements is a study of contemporary North American ecopoetry, a poetry which is characterized by a negotiation or subversion of established cultural representations of nature, and by a re-deployment of poetic forms such as lyrical poetry, pastoral and elegy. The studied poets experiment with form and question well-established categories such as human and nature, instead emphasizing connections between the human, other organisms, and inorganic matter. It provides a joint exploration of the work of two major contemporary poets from a literary and interdisciplinary perspective, mapping instances of the poetic expression of Black feminist politics.
