  1. 16. Complex correlations between microstructure and magnetic behavior in hard nanomagnets : A study of the structural and magnetic properties of SrFe12O19 nanocrystallites

    Författare :Pierfrancesco Maltoni; Roland Mathieu; Martin Sahlberg; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; hexaferrites; nanoparticles hard-magnetic materials; Engineering Science with specialization in Solid State Physics; Teknisk fysik med inriktning mot fasta tillståndets fysik;

    Sammanfattning : Magnetic materials at the nanoscale are of huge scientific and technological interest, as theirmagnetic properties display remarkably different behavior compared to bulk-size. Among na-nostructured materials, M-type hexaferrite SrFe12O19 (SFO) nanoparticles (NPs) has becomeextremely appealing as promising candidate material for the renewal of permanent magnets ap-plications. 2. 17. Synthesis and characterization of Mo-based nanolaminates

    Författare :Rahele Meshkian; Johanna Rosén; Árni Sigurður Ingason; Hans Högberg; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Mn+1AXn (MAX) phases are nanolaminated compounds based on a transition metal (M), a group A element (A), and carbon or/and nitrogen (X), which exhibit a unique combination of ceramic and metallic properties. Mo-based MAX phases are among the least studied, despite indication of superconducting properties and high potential for fabrication of the grapheneanalogous 2D counterpart, Mo2C MXene. LÄS MER

  3. 18. Synthesis and Photochemical Characterisation of Photoactive Compounds for Molecular Electronics

    Författare :Behabitu Ergette Tebikachew; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []

    Sammanfattning : In this modern age of technology, communication is highly reliant on computing devices such as mobile phones and computers. The advent of artificial intelligence (AI) and internet of things (IoT) as well as the widespread use of user-generated contents (UGC) are demanding more computing power and large data storage. 4. 19. Young today-adult tomorrow! Studies on physical status, physical activity, attitudes, and self-perception in children and adolescents

    Författare :Ann-Christin Sollerhed; Samhällsmedicin; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; physical education; physical status; physical capacity; self-perception; attitudes; sense of coherence; Medicine human and vertebrates ; intervention; physical activity; adolescents; Young people; children; Medicin människa och djur ;

    Sammanfattning : The aim was to gain knowledge of young people's physical status and physical activity, and to further the understanding of the role of school physical education in a salutogenic public health perspective. Two studies were performed in southern Sweden. Study 1 was performed in 1996 among 301 adolescents aged 16-19 in upper secondary school. LÄS MER

  5. 20. On the nature of self-assembly in low-density condensed matter : A classical molecular dynamics approach

    Författare :Alfredo Metere; Peter Oleynikov; Anatoly Belonoshko; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; fysikalisk kemi; Physical Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : The study of the physics of self-assembly in low-density condensed matter is an extremely interesting, mostly unexplored field of scientific research. The contribution reported in this thesis explains how this problem can be addressed using molecular dynamics simulation of 3D systems composed by simple, identical particles, interacting via a spherically symmetric pair potential, which belongs to the class of Dzugutov potentials.
