11. Pathophysiology of 5-fluorouracil induced cardiotoxicity : a clinical and experimental study
Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns the pathophysiology of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) induced cardiotoxicity. The aim of the clinical studies was to determine whether hemorheological factors might explain 5-FU cardiotoxicity (I) and if the syndrome was associated with free radical (FR) generation and lipid peroxidation (II). 12. Effect of Cholecystokinin-B/Gastrin Receptor Antagonists on Rat Stomach ECL Cells

13. Origin, release and functional significance of the novel gastric hormone ghrelin
Sammanfattning : The novel gastric hormone ghrelin was discovered by virtue of its ability to release growth hormone (GH) via interaction with the so-called GH-secretagogue receptor (GHS-R). Earlier only synthetic agents were known to bind with the GHS-R, hence, ghrelin is the first identified endogenous ligand. LÄS MER

15. Statistics on local drug sales: A tool to identify problem areas and to follow effects of education on drug use
