  1. 1. The HDZip Class I Transcription Factors in Arabidopsis thaliana : Characterisation of HDZip Genes Involved in the Mediation of Environmental Signals

    Författare :Eva Henriksson; Peter Engström; Julio Salinas; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Plant physiology; Växtfysiologi; Plant physiology; Växtfysiologi;

    Sammanfattning : Homeodomain leucine zipper (HDZip) proteins constitute a large family of transcription factors characterised by the presence of a DNA-binding homeodomain and an adjacent leucine zipper motif, which mediates protein-dimer formation. The HDZip genes of Arabidopsis have been divided into four classes, HDZip I-IV. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Protection against cold in prehospital trauma care

    Författare :Otto Henriksson; Ulf Björnstig; Tore Vikström; Peter Naredi; Hannu Rintamäki; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Hypothermia; prehospital trauma care; emergency medical services; passive warming; thermal insulation; heat loss; body temperature regulation; kirurgi; Surgery;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Protection against cold is vitally important in prehospital trauma care to reduce heat loss and prevent body core cooling. Objectives: Evaluate the effect on cold stress and thermoregulation in volunteer subjects byutilising additional insulation on a spineboard (I). LÄS MER

  3. 3. Rätt mätt på prov : Om validering av bedömningar i skolan

The introduction discusses the often made distinction between subjective and objective measures. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Health systems bottlenecks and evidence-based district health planning : Experiences from the district health system in Uganda

    Författare :Dorcus Kiwanuka Henriksson; Stefan Swartling Peterson; Mio Fredriksson; Peter Waiswa; Anna-Karin Hurtig; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; District; health systems; decentralization; evidence; planning; bottleneck analysis; governance; decision space; health information systems; maternal and newborn care; child survival; Uganda; International Health; Internationell hälsa;

    Sammanfattning : In low-income countries where maternal and child mortality remains high, there is limited use of context-specific evidence for decision making and prioritization of interventions in the planning process at the sub-national level, such as the district level. Knowledge on the utility of tools and interventions to promote use of district-specific evidence in the planning process is limited, yet it could contribute to the prioritization of high-impact interventions for women and children.
