    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents the positional cloning of the gene behind Diamond-Blackfan anemia. Evidence for the involvement of ribosomal protein (RP) S19 gene mutations in Diamond-Blackfan anemia is given.     Sammanfattning : Pancreatic ß-cells are heterogeneous in their secretory responsiveness, glucose sensitivity and metabolic rate. A diminished and delayed first-phase insulin release is an early sign of failing ß-cells in diabetes. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation provides an introduction to the concept of no arbitrage pricing and probability measures. In complete markets prices are arbitrage-free if and only if there exists an equivalent probability measure under which all asset prices are martingales.     Sammanfattning : The demands for high data rates and broadband wireless access require the development of wireless systems that can support wide and multi-band signals.
