  1. 1. Studies of Ultrafast Relaxation and Photodissociation Processes in Solution

    Författare :Peter Salén; Peter van der Meulen; Jan Davidsson; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; ultrafast spectroscopy; liquid phase; Physics; Fysik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis focuses on femtosecond studies of relaxation and photo-induced dissociation processes in the liquid environment. Measurements are performed using both polarization sensitive and magic angle transient absorption spectroscopy with excitation wavelengths of 387 nm and 258 nm and a white light continuum probe. 2. 2. Finite Element Analysis of Structure-acoustic Systems : Methods and Applications

    Författare :Peter Davidsson; Byggnadsmekanik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Paper 1The problem in which a flexible structure interacts with an acoustic fluid is analysed by use of the finite element method. With increasing complexity of the geometry and when increasing the frequency limit is of interest, the number of degrees of freedom needed to describe the system becomes very large. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Structure-acoustic analysis; finite element modelling and reduction methods

    Författare :Peter Davidsson; Byggnadsmekanik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Mechanical engineering; hydraulics; vacuum technology; vibration and acoustic engineering; Maskinteknik; hydraulik; vakuumteknik; vibrationer; akustik; low frequency range; building acoustics; lightweight structures; porous materials; modal reduction; substructuring; finite element analysis; structural acoustics; vibroacoustics; Structural dynamics;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates structure-acoustic systems by use of finite element analysis. The systems studied here are limited to those that consist of an enclosed acoustic fluid cavity, which is coupled to a flexible structure and/or a porous sound absorbing material domain. LÄS MER
