1. On the Mode of Hysterectomy : with Emphasis on Recovery and Well‐Being
Sammanfattning : Hysterectomy is the surgical removal of the uterus and it is the most common major gynaecological surgical procedure worldwide. Hysterectomy is most often indicated by benign conditions such as irregular uterine bleeding with or without uterine fibroids. Several modes of hysterectomy are available each using a different surgical approach. LÄS MER
2. On dynamic crack growth in discontinuous materials
Sammanfattning : In this thesis work numerical procedures are developed for modeling dynamic fracture of discontinuous materials, primarily materials composed of a load-bearing network. The models are based on the Newtonian equations of motion, and does not require neither stiffness matrices nor remeshing as cracks form and grow. LÄS MER
4. A Study of Factors Affecting the Particle Size for Water Atomised Metal Powders
Sammanfattning : The production of metal powders by water atomisation is a well established process, which can be used to produce a wide range of particle sizes. A careful control of the particle size distribution is necessary, to atomise powders with a high quality and at a low production cost. LÄS MER
5. A Study of Parameters and Properties Influencing the Size, Morphology and Oxygen Content of Water Atomized Metal Powders
Sammanfattning : The production of metal powders by water atomization is a well-established process, which can be used to produce a wide range of particle sizes for different applications. In general, there is a lack of detailed knowledge about what process parameters that affect the powder properties for water atomized metal powders. LÄS MER
