  1. 1. Coteaching chemical bonding with Upper secondary senior students : A way to refine teachers PCK

    Författare :Felix Schultze; Pernilla Nilsson; Zimmerman Nilsson Marie-Helene; Anna Vikström; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Coteaching; pedagogical content knowledge; pck; chemical bonding; representations; chemistry education; chemistry didactic;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study was to investigate how an experienced chemistry teacher gains and refines her pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) by cooperating with two grade 12 students (age 18) as coteachers while teaching chemical bonding in a grade 10 Upper secondary class. The study has been conducted from a sociocultural perspective, especially Vygotsky’s zone of proximal development (ZPD) (Vygotsky, 1978). LÄS MER

  2. 2. MODELLING-BASED TEACHING IN CHEMISTRY IN A MULTILINGUAL CONTEXT : A tool to explore and visualise the non-spontaneous and abstract?

    Författare :Lizette Widing; Pernilla Nilsson; Pernilla Granklint Enochson; Karina Adbo; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : The thesis aims to investigate modelling-based teaching in the multilingual context. Modelling-based teaching concerns when students create, discuss, and evaluate representations to visualise concepts and processes. In this thesis, modelling-based teaching has been used in polymer chemistry at a Swedish secondary school. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Learning to Teach and Teaching to Learn : Primary science student teachers´ complex journey from learners to teachers

    Författare :Pernilla Nilsson; Claes Ericsson; Christopher Clark; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Experience; reflection; PCK; primary science; student teacher; teacher education; Erfarenhet; lärarstudent; lärarutbildning; naturvetenskap; PCK; reflektion; ämnesdidaktisk kunskap; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; Social sciences;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns the process of student teachers´ learning to teach primary science and is based on four studies involving primary science student teachers during their teacher education program. The overall question that the thesis intends to investigate is in which ways student teachers’ learning about teaching can be illustrated and understood in terms of the critical aspects that are experienced within their teaching and learning practices. Sammanfattning : Galectins, a lectin family, have shown binding affinities towards b-galactosides. Galectins have been proposed to be involved in a wide range of functions like for example, cell growth, adhesion, migration, chemo taxis and apoptosis. They have also been associated with various cancer types. LÄS MER

    Författare :Pernilla Israelsson; Ulrika Ottander; Lucia Mincheva-Nilsson; Eva Lundin; Ivan Nagaev; Karin Sundfeldt; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; human; ovarian cancer; high-grade serous cancer; EOC; HGSC; HGSOC; tumor microenvironment; immune escape; immune suppression; cytokines; exosomes; NKG2D; MICA B; ULBP1-3; DNAM-1; surgery; obstetrik och gynekologi; Obstetrics and Gynaecology;

    Sammanfattning : Tumors develop mechanisms to subvert the immune system, constituting immune escape. Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC), the deadliest of all gynecological malignancies, uses a variety of mechanisms to undermine immune surveillance, aiding its establishment and metastatic spreading.
