  1. 1. Thermal Properties of Clusters and Molecules - Experiments on Evaporation, Thermionic Emission, and Radiative Cooling

    Författare :Erika Sundén; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; water clusters fullerenes unimolecular decay evaporation thermionic emission radiative decay cooling rates heat capacities;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents experiments performed on clusters and molecules, where the three channels of unimolecular decay have been studied. Evaporation from protonated and negatively charged water cluster have yielded size dependent heat capacities, where the smallest sizes with fewer than $21$ molecules show a heat capacity similar to bulk ice whereas clusters with molecules between $21$ and $300$ have a heat capacity in between that of ice and liquid water. 2. 2. Radiographic follow-up analysis of Br?nemark? dental implants

    Författare :Solweig Sundén Pikner; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Cluster effect; Dental implants; Dependency; Diagnostic accuracy; Long-term follow-up; Marginal bone level; Observer variation; Osseointegration; Prediction;

    Sammanfattning : Radiography plays an important role in clinical routine practice and in research projects evaluating dental implants, among them Br?nemark? System. Presence of a peri-implant radiolucency has been used in studies as a criterion for implant failure without knowledge of its diagnostic accuracy. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Geographic Distribution of Intra-specific Variation in Widespread Eurasian boreo-nemoral Woodland Herbs

    Författare :Torbjörn Tyler; Biologiska institutionen; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; kemotaxonomi. Växters fysiologi inte kärlväxter .; Plant genetics; Växtgenetik; morfologi; chemotaxonomy. Sammanfattning : Many woodland plant species have huge distribution areas covering large parts of the Eurasian continent including areas that were glaciated during the last glacial period. In the present thesis, the geographic distribution of variation within such species is investigated and discussed in relation to glacial survival and post-glacial migration, dispersal ability, breeding system and levels of gene-flow between populations and related species, and various methods to measure and analyse genetic variation.
