    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines how freshwater crayfish affect community interactions in benthic food webs. I have mainly studied the influence of the introduced signal crayfish (Pacifastacus leniusculus) on littoral communities, but also the influence of the native noble crayfish (Astacus astacus).     Sammanfattning : Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality. About 50 % of patients with CRC will develop subsequent liver metastases (CLM). The survival for untreated CLM is only a few months and liver resection provides the only chance for a lasting cure. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The scope of this thesis is to unravel some of the mysteries concerning events takingplace early in the amyloid cascade. In vitro studies of early misfolded states ofamyloidogenic proteins are important since the use of recombinant proteins allow us to monitor slight changes in environmental conditions as well as in amino acid composition and thereby illuminate the problem at near atomic resolution.
