    Sammanfattning : The study of ancient genomics of pre-historic human remains has in recent years offered unprecedented knowledge regarding pre-historic migration and population structure on the European continent which has fundamentally altered the current views in the archaeological community.     Sammanfattning : Positron emission tomography (PET) is a medical imaging modality with which neurophysiological functions can be studied. After a radio-labeled molecule is injected intravenously, it is transported by the blood stream to the target of interest. The radioactive atom of the molecule decays, resulting in two gamma rays that the PET system detects. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : With point of departure in three main objectives the purpose of the thesis is to examine the potential of the reasoning and concepts of the French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu (1930–2002) in an analysis of an archaeological material.
