    Sammanfattning : Upon light exposure, the expression of one-third of the nuclear-encoded genes is changing, including genes encoding many chloroplast-targeted proteins responsible for the initiation of plastid transcription and the establishment of photosynthesis.     Sammanfattning : Photosynthetic eukaryots emerged as a result of several billion years of evolution between proeukaryotic cell and ancestral cyanobacteria that formed modern chloroplasts.     Sammanfattning : Background: During the last 30 years, important changes have been introduced in the management of common bile duct stones (CBDS) which can be detected in about 10% of patients undergoing cholecystectomy because of symptomatic gallstone disease.
