11. Unveiling Catalytic Species in Suspension/Solution-Based Reactions by In Situ X-Ray Absorption Spectroscopy : Evolution of Palladium and Ruthenium Species
Sammanfattning : The palladium (Pd) and ruthenium (Ru) species in several attractive catalysts have been probed using X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS). The study of catalyst evolution in suspension- and solution-based reactions was the primary aim. It was achieved by performing in situ XAS experiments on Pd and Ru over the course of the reactions. 12. Dielectric response and partial discharge measurements on stator insulation at varied low frequency
Sammanfattning : This is a study of potential improvements of diagnostic methods used on high-voltage generators and motors. It considers offline electrical measurements on the main insulation of stator windings, where a sinusoidal voltage is applied between the winding and the stator-core, and the total current through the insulation (dielectric spectroscopy, DS) and the rapid current-pulses arising from discharges (partial discharge, PD) are measured. 13. Periodontal medicine : oral inflammatory conditions with special emphasis on immunological aspects
Sammanfattning : Systemic effects of periodontal disease have been a subject of interest for the past century, with intense focus converging since the past decade. Both rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and periodontal disease (PD) are immuno-inflammatory diseases with osteolysis as its hallmark feature. Activated T cells are known to modulate osteoclastogenesis. 14. Partial Discharge Analysis of Stator Insulation at Arbitrary Voltage Waveform Stimulus
Sammanfattning : Partial discharge (PD) detection is a powerful tool to diagnose the defects and degradation in high voltage electrical insulation systems. It can be performed in both on-line and off-line conditions. LÄS MER
15. Validation of a novel PET imaging marker for dopaminergic degeneration in Parkinson’s disease patients
Sammanfattning : Background: There is a need for an objective disease progression marker for Parkinson’s disease (PD). DAT measurement with PET-radioligand [18F]FE-PE2I has so far shown to be promising with its favorable kinetics, low production of metabolites, and ability to image the whole nigrostriatal pathway.
