   Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the numerical solution of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) problems for electronic systems, such as radiated emission, susceptibility and crosstalk on printed circuit boards and transmission through slots. The analysis of printed circuit boards is done by using an electric field integral equation (EFIE) expressed in the frequency domain, which is solved by using the method of moments. LÄS MER

   Sammanfattning : Both results of laboratory experiments and material collected in the field have shown the lipid composition in organisms to have a significant effect on the bioaccumulation of pollutants and on the lipid steady-state concentrations of pollutants there. The redistribution of persistent organic pollutants which occurs in organisms as a consequence of the depletion of lipid depot, was studied in a population of migrating Pacific salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka). In the first project, which was part of the Swedish national environmental monitoring, biomarkers were measured annually in female perch (Perca fluviatilis) in two background areas in the Baltic Sea during 1988–2000, resulting in a unique 13-year series of measurements.    Sammanfattning : Denna avhandling behandlar rökgasutsläpp av persistenta organiska föroreningar, framförallt dioxiner, vid förbränning av fasta biobränslen och torrt hushållsavfall i relativt små anläggningar (5-600 kW) utan avancerad rökgasreningsteknik.Samförbränning av avfall och biobränsle i effektiva mindre biobränslepannor testades som en alternativ strategi till den vanligen förekommande storskaliga hanteringen och förbränningen fast hushållsavfall.
