  1. 1. Formation and Decomposition of Platinum–Thallium Bond, Kinetics and Mechanism. Structural Characterization of Some Metal Cyanides in the Solid State

    Författare :Péter Nagy; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; metal–metal bond; platinum; thallium; kinetics; mechanism; stopped flow; oxidative addition; cyano complexes; edta; redox reaction; metal cyanides; X–ray diffraction; Raman; NMR; mercury; palladium; nickel; one dimensional wire;

    Sammanfattning : The kinetic and mechanistic features of a new series ofplatinum-thallium cyano compounds containing a direct andunsupported by ligands metal-metal bond have been studied insolution, using standard mix–and–measurespectrophotometric technique and stopped–flow method.These reactions are interpreted as oxidative addition of the cspecies to the square planar Pt(CN)42-complex. 2. 2. MaMiS : A Programming Environment for Numeric/Symbolic Data Processing

    Författare :Peter A. J. Nagy; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Scheme; MATLAB; MACSYMA; Numeric symbolic data processing;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis describes a programming environment (called MaMiS - MATLAB and MACSYMA in Scheme) for symbolic/numeric data processing. This programming environment is based on three main parts:Scheme, a symbol manipulating language (a LISP dialect)MATLAB, a program for numeric scientific calculationsMACSYMA, a program for formula manipulationsA fourth part is added to MaMiS, the text editor DNU Emacs, which is used as an interface between the user and Scheme. 3. 3. Tools for Knowledge-Based Signal Processing with Applications to System Identification

    Författare :Peter A. J. Nagy; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis contains three parts: firstly there is an introduction to the field of knowledge-based signal processing - which denotes a combination of symbolic and numeric software capable of implementing algorithms of both algorithmic and heuristic character. Secondly suitable tools for knowledge-based signal processing are discussed - this includes the tools developed in our research. LÄS MER
