  1. 21. Prosody in Swedish Children with Language Impairment. Perceptual, Acoustic and Interactional Aspects

    Detta är en avhandling från Christina Samuelsson, Högdalsgatan 17, 587 31 Linköping

    Författare :Christina Samuelsson; [2004]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; auditive system and speech; Otorinolaryngologi; audiologi; hörsel- och talorganen; audiology; Otorhinolaryngology; classification; acoustic evaluation; prosody; perceptual evaluations; language impairment;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis was to explore prosodic problems in Swedish children with language impairment (LI). In the first study, 29 children with LI participated. 2. 22. Clinical Electrocochleography in Menière´s disease

    Detta är en avhandling från Otorhinolaryngology (Lund)

    Författare :Kornel Sass; [1997]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; intrathoracic pressure; perilymphatic fistula; pressure exposure; endolymphatic hydrops; Menière´s disease; reproducibility; specificity; sensitivity; rarefaction click; condensation click; electrocochleography; summating potential; Otorhinolaryngology; audiology; auditive system and speech; Otorinolaryngologi; audiologi; hörsel- och talorganen;

    Sammanfattning : Electrocochleography (ECoG) is an objective method to evaluate cochlear electrophysiology. The recordings are considered to reflect the mechano-electric processes of the cochlea, and can indicate the presence of suspected endolymphatic hydrops. LÄS MER

  3. 23. The otitis-prone child : studies of a condition with a multifactorial background

    Detta är en avhandling från Cecilia Stenström, Läkargruppen Gustav Adolf, Baltzarsgatan 41 A, S-211 36 Malmö, Sweden

    Författare :Cecilia Stenström; [1996]

    Sammanfattning : Acute otitis media (AOM) is a common complication after episodes of respiratory tract infections in childhood. Some children have recurrent episodes and they are often called otitis-prone. These children are prone not only to middle-ear diseases but also to other infectious diseases. LÄS MER

  4. 24. Middle Ear Pressure; A New Method for Continuous Direct Measurements

    Detta är en avhandling från Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Lund University

    Författare :Bo Tideholm; [2000]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Otorhinolaryngology; man; physiology; sleep; posture; pressure; patulous Eustachian tube; middle ear; Ear; audiology; auditive system and speech; Otorinolaryngologi; audiologi; hörsel- och talorganen;

    Sammanfattning : Disturbances in the pressure homeostasis of the middle ear (ME) system cause a pressure gradient across the tympanic membrane lessen the effectiveness of sound transmission and may be associated to development of chronic ME disease. An equipment for continuous direct pressure measurements was developed and was found to be accurate, base-line stabile and portable. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Clinical and Experimental Aspects of Phonetogram Analysis

    Detta är en avhandling från Otorhinolaryngology (Lund)

    Författare :Leif Åkerlund; [1996]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Otorhinolaryngology; subglottal pressure.; sound pressure level; semitones; phonetogram contours; phonetogram; intensity; Fundamental frequency; audiology; auditive system and speech; Otorinolaryngologi; audiologi; hörsel- och talorganen;

    Sammanfattning : A phonetogram is a diagram displaying sound pressure levels (SPL) of softest and loudest possible phonation over the entire fundamental frequency range (F0) of a voice. Female singers mean phonetogram had a significantly higher upper contour than female nonsingers. LÄS MER
