Sammanfattning :
Although literary translingualism, defined as the practice of writing literature in a second language, is by no means new, it is only in the past two decades that a specialized research field has emerged around the phenomenon. Synthesizing recent developments and drawing on several existing research strands, this study sets out to examine translingual writing in French in its contemporary expressions, with a particular focus on the novel. Sammanfattning :
This thesis deals with the functions of prevalent threshold-like spaces such as windows, stairs, doors or balconies in theatre plays from the height of the Romantic era in France (1828-1835). The study coins the concept of « para-espaces » (para-spaces) and elucidates the way they mediate between different divisions of the spatiotemporal structure of a play. LÄS MER

This dissertation reframes Latin American literary regionalism as the configuration of an alternative political-cultural reaction in the 1930s-1940s. It argues that such an approach questions the precepts of Eurocentric modernity, going beyond the nuanced conceptualization of the environment as a nature-culture dichotomy. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning :
This study discusses the articulation of a form of ecological thought grounded in a postnatural aesthetics in twenty-first century long poems from Latin America. I argue that the relationship between poetry and ecology, as analyzed in Latin American ecopoetry, and particularly in the long poem of the 70s and 80s, needs to be supplemented with a postnatural framework, in order to theorize the articulations of ‛the living’ ‒assemblages between human and more-than-human worlds‒ in the contemporary long poem.
