    Sammanfattning : In 1705, a four-language thematic dictionary was published in Riga, Wörter-Büchlein, wie etzliche gebräuchliche Sachen auff Teutsch, Schwedisch, Polnisch und Lettisch zu benennen seynd. Its structure is almost identical to a dictionary published by the same printing house in 1688, Vocabularium wie etzliche gebräuchliche Sachen auff Teutsch, Lateinisch, Polnisch und Lettisch auszusprechen seynd. Drawing mainly upon postcolonial conceptualizations of nation and family, the discursive constitution of transnational adoption, transnational adoptees, and transnational adoptive families as objects of knowledge is explored.     Sammanfattning : Throughout the history of archaeology, the Sámi (the indigenous people in northern Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Kola Peninsula in the Russian Federation) have been conceptualized as the “Others” in relation to the national identity and (pre)history of the modern states. It is only in the last decades that a field of Sámi archaeology that studies Sámi (pre)history in its own right has emerged, parallel with an ethnic and cultural revival among Sámi groups. LÄS MER
