    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this dissertation is to contribute to the discussion of the deeper meaning, in our contemporary context, of the ”neolithization” of Sweden. The basis for the investigation is twofold: * a critical examination of recent research reports dealing mostly with the Early Neolithic of (Middle) Sweden which shows, inter alia, that ”agriculture” was of marginal importance for a very long time from about 4000 BC onwards, while, at the same time, the idea of ”the transition to farming” dominates discourse. 4. 4. Nanowires for Cell Research

    Författare :Waldemar Hällström; Fasta tillståndets fysik; []
    Nyckelord :Nanotoxicology; Nanowires; Nanotubes; Nerve Cells; Cell Probing; Force Measurements; Nanotechnology; Axonal Guidance; Fysicumarkivet A:2010:Hällström;

    Sammanfattning : This study explores the interaction between living biological cells and semiconductor nanowires. Biological cells are highly complex and dynamic entities, every one of them with individual characteristics and a high degree of internal and external communication. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Policy, Interest and Power : Studies in Strategies of Research Utilization

    Författare :Kjell Nilsson; Socialhögskolan; []

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation about the utilization of applied social science is based on studies of research use in three different policy sectors - the social service, the building, and the working life sectors. In these studies some characteristics of the different policy sectors, like the distribution and exercise of power and control, was found to play a fundamental role in forming the patterns of research utilization of the organizations in the field and the ways organizations act in relation to their environments.
