  1. 1. Partitioning of biomolecules in thermoseparating polymer-water two-phase systems

    Författare :Hans-Olof Johansson; Biokemi och Strukturbiologi; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; aqueous two-phase system; temperature-induced phase separation; amino acid and peptide separation; polymer; partitioning; Biology; Biologi;

    Sammanfattning : The partitioning behaviour of different types of molecules in thermoseparating two-phase systems has been studied. A thermoseparating two phase system was formed by heating a water solution, which contained a thermoseparating polymer, above the cloud point temperature. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Buildings and district heating - contributions to development and assessments of efficient technology

    Författare :Per-Olof Johansson; Energihushållning; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; District heating; hydronic space heating; natural circulation; lowered return temperature; primary energy; add-on-fan blower;

    Sammanfattning : The objective of this thesis is to contribute to improved performance of district heating systems by focusing on three items. Item 1: Study of three methods for improving the performance of sub-systems within buildings connected to the distribution network. The methods can be considered as more or less innovative. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Enhanced District Heating Technology : Maintaining Future System Feasibility

    Författare :Helge Averfalk; Sven Werner; Urban Persson; Mei Gong; Patrick Lauenburg; Kerstin Sernhed; Per-Olof Johansson Kallioniemi; Louise Ödlund; Högskolan i Halmstad; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : When heat demand and high temperature heat supply gradually decreases in the future, then it will effect district heating systems ability to compete on the heat market. A good way to mitigate less district heating feasibility is to operate systems with lower temperature levels and the most conceivable way to achieve lower temperature levels is to decrease return temperatures.
