   Sammanfattning : When a strong laser field interacts with free atoms, harmonics up to very high orders are created. This extreme ultraviolet (XUV) radiation has interesting properties, such as spatial and temporal coherence, short pulse duration and high brightness. Relatively little is still known about the reaction between transition metals and C60, and the objective of this thesis was therefore-to investigate the chemical interaction between C60 and some group IV-VI transition metals.
