    Sammanfattning : This dissertation is an analysis of the relations between reindeer herding Sami and settled non-Sami in Gällivare parish, Swedish Lapland, 1898-1940. The focus of the dissertation is on the system of skötesrenar, the practice of reindeer belonging to non-Sami being herded by Sami and the subsequent contacts between the two groups. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Det övergripande syftet var att undersöka mat- och måltidsrelaterade faktorer som bidragande orsak till övervikt och hjärt-kärlsjukdom.I en sensorisk studie jämfördes individer som insjuknat i hjärtinfarkt med en frisk kontroll-grupp med avseende på preferens för mat med hög respektive låg fetthalt, smakkänslighet för grundsmakerna (surt, beskt, salt, sött, umami och metalliskt) samt det beska ämnet 6-n-propylthiouracil (PROP).     Sammanfattning : A growing body of results indicate that immunological alterations and oxidative stress are of importance in various mental disorders. The inflammatory changes are possible to detect both in plasma and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), and different psychiatric disorder exhibit similar changes indicating a common underlying mechanism.
