   Sammanfattning : Over the past three decades, biologic therapies have revolutionised the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases such as multiple sclerosis (MS), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (AAV)-associated vasculitis (AAV) and for many, are now a core component of management. However, unlike chemically synthesised smallmolecule drugs, biologicals are larger and are produced using complex processes in or from living organisms, resulting in a propensity to stimulate an unwanted immune response to itself or related proteins.
