    Sammanfattning : The thesis portrays the role of Hedwig Eleonora (1636-1715) dowager queen of Sweden, born princess of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf, as a patron and collector. Her role is analysed as to have played a great part in the Swedish cultural political visual production before and during the age of absolutism in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth-century.     Sammanfattning : This dissertation defends the thesis that application of the socio-material methodology that I present can assist environmentally more effective decision-making.     Sammanfattning : The thesis discusses lessons learned and issued raised when exploring how self-produced rich media can facilitate sharing of meaning between healthcare professionals at an intensive care unit and between healthcare professionals and patients within a hand surgery clinic. Design experiments conducted at the intensive care unit focused on how healthcare professionals could collaboratively produce ‘best practice’ videos displayed on handheld devices and accessed through barcodes placed out in the unit.
