  1. 16. ICT Platform Integration - MCDM Based Framework for the Establishment of Value Network : Case Study: Mozambique Government Electronic Network (GovNet)

    Författare :Lourino Chemane; Oliver Popov; Tatiana Kovacikova; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Computer and systems science; Data- och systemvetenskap; Computer and Systems Sciences; data- och systemvetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : The selection of ICT service providers are among many of the challenges in building networks (intranets and extensions to the Internet) due to the high investment on equipment (CAPEX) and on operational costs (OPEX). This thesis proposes a Multi-Criteria Decision Method based decision support framework via the deployment of the Analytical Hierarchy Process method that can be used to improve selection and evaluation practices. 2. 17. DDRNoC: Dual Data-Rate Network-on-Chip

    Författare :Ahsen Ejaz; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Network-on-Chip; On-Chip Interconnect; Dual Data-Rate; Multiprocessor System-on-Chip; Chip Multiprocessors; System-on-Chip;

    Sammanfattning : Networks-on-Chip (NoCs) are becoming increasing important for the performance of modern multi-core system-on-chip. For various on-chip networks with virtual channel (VC) ow control, the slow control logic (VC and switch allocation logic) of the NoC routers limits the NoC clock period while their datapath (switch and link) possesses signifcant slack. 3. 18. Dual Data Rate Network-on-Chip Architectures

    Författare :Ahsen Ejaz; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Dual Data-Rate; Network-on-Chip; System-on-Chip; On-Chip Interconnect; Chip Multiprocessors; Multiprocessor System-on-Chip;

    Sammanfattning : Networks-on-Chip (NoCs) are becoming increasing important for the performance of modern multi-core systems-on-chip. The performance of current NoCs is limited, among others, by two factors: their limited clock frequency and long router pipeline. The clock frequency of a network defines the limits of its saturation throughput. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Rethinking network management solutions : models, data-mining and self-learning

    Författare :Stefan Wallin; Rolf Stadler; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Distribuerade datorsystem; Mobile and Pervasive Computing;

    Sammanfattning : Network service providers are struggling to reduce cost while at the same time improving customer satisfaction. This thesis addresses three relevant underlying challenges to achievieng these goals: - managing an overwhelming flow of low-quality alarms - understanding the structure and quality of the delivered services - automation of service configurationAll of the these add to an operator's operational costs since manual work is required in order to understand the alarm and service status as well as for configuring new services. 5. 20. Traffic Management in Software-Defined Data Center Networks

    Författare :Cristian Hernandez Benet; Andreas Kassler; Boris Koldehofe; Karlstads universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; SDN; data center; load-balancing; traffic management; EVPN; big data; programmable data plane; Computer Science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Traffic management in data centers is paramount to improving network and application performance, thereby improving the quality of service by reducing network congestion, packet loss, and latency. However, the deployment and configuration of traffic management techniques are challenging due to diverse data-center traffic characteristics, large data center topologies, and the interplay of different protocols at the routing, transport, and link layer.
