1. Everyday activities in older adults readmitted to hospital
Sammanfattning : The coordination of health care and social care at discharge are particularly important for older adults with complex health and social needs, as approximately 30 % of these persons are readmitted to hospital on an unplanned basis within three months of discharge. In order to provide adequate care for this group of older adults, we need a deeper understanding of their experiences regarding their functional ability at hospital and at home. LÄS MER
2. Molecular-level dissolved organic matter dynamics in lakes : Constraints on reactivity and persistence
Sammanfattning : Dissolved organic matter (DOM) is a central component of the global carbon cycle. Thus, small changes to the amount of DOM imported, processed and produced within lakes can have a large effect on regional carbon budgets. In addition to being a vital energy source at the base of the aquatic food web, DOM is physico-chemically reactive. LÄS MER
3. Characterisation of residues : Release of contaminants from slags and ashes
Sammanfattning : Residues from industrial processes as well as from energy production utilities have in many cases properties similar to geological materials. They can be used as filling and construction materials if the net environmental impact and the technical properties are acceptable. LÄS MER
4. Allopregnanolone effects in women : clinical studies in relation to the menstrual cycle, premenstrual dysphoric disorder and oral contraceptive use
Sammanfattning : Background: Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) affects 3–8% of women in fertile ages. Combined oral contraceptives (OCs) are widely used and some users experience adverse mood effects. The cyclicity of PMDD symptoms coincides with increased endogenous levels of allopregnanolone after ovulation. LÄS MER

The framework is that when the socialisation process functions well, and norms and values are internalised, an individual will develop a moral sense as to what is right and wrong. LÄS MER
