16. Characterization of (Ba,Sr)TiO3 thin films for multiplier applications
Sammanfattning : (Ba,Sr)TiO3 (BSTO) and SrTiO3 (STO) parallel plate ferroelectric varactors are investigated for microwave multiplier applications.STO and BSTO exhibit low losses, high permittivity and largetunability of both permittivity and losses. All films are deposited using Pulsed Laser Deposition, magnetron sputtering and E-beam evaporation. LÄS MER
17. Symmetric varactor frequency multipliers
Sammanfattning : This thesis describes heterostructure barrier varactor (HBV) frequency multipliers for millimetre and sub-millimetre wave applications. The basic principles of HBVs are explained. Starting from basic varactor theory, an equivalent circuit model for HBVs is presented. LÄS MER
18. Planar Heterostructure Barrier Varactor Diodes for Millimetre Wave Applications
Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with fabrication, characterisation and modelling of the Heterostructure Barrier Varactor (HBV) diode and its use in frequency multiplier applications. Different aspects of material structures and frequency multipliers are described. LÄS MER
19. Likelihood-Based Panel Unit Root Tests for Factor Models
Sammanfattning : The thesis consists of four papers that address likelihood-based unit root tests for panel data with cross-sectional dependence arising from common factors. In the first three papers, we derive Lagrange multiplier (LM)-type tests for common and idiosyncratic unit roots in the exact factor models based on the likelihood function of the differenced data. 20. Some new Lizorkin multiplier theorems for Fourier series and transforms
Sammanfattning : This Licentiate Thesis is devoted to the study of Fourier series and Fourier transform multipliers and contains three papers (papers A - C) together with an introduction, which put these papers into a general frame. In paper A a generalization of the Lizorkin theorem on Fourier multipliers is proved. LÄS MER
