  2. 2. Design Automation for Additive Manufacturing : A Multi-Disciplinary Optimization Approach

    Författare :Anton Wiberg; Johan Ölvander; Johan Persson; Kristina Shea; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Additive manufacturing (AM) is a group of manufacturing methods which have attracted rapidly increasing interest in academia and industry during the last years. AM's main benefits are manufacturing of complex shapes and small-scale manufacturing, without the additional cost of traditional manufacturing methods. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Implementing PLM Across Organisations - For multi-disciplinary and cross-functional product development

    Författare :Trond Zimmerman; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; product development; cross-functional; multi-disciplinary; and commercial vehicle; PLM; information modelling; aftermarket; mechatronic;

    Sammanfattning : Nearly all product development organisations and processes have information as their key deliverable. The immense quantities of information being produced and utilised along the development lifecycle together with the commonly large number of IT tools used highlights the importance of continuously keeping the content in the overall information management system in order. 4. 4. Micro-grids supplied by renewable energy : Improving technical and social feasibility

    Författare :Caroline Bastholm; Ewa Wäckelgård; Annette Henning; Frank Fiedler; Kirsten Ulsrud; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Rural electrification; Electricity access; Decentralized; Off-grid; Photovoltacs; PV-hybrid; Micro-grid; Multi-disciplinary; Sociotechnical; Engineering Science; Teknisk fysik; Energy and Built Environments;

    Sammanfattning : Universal access to electricity stands high on the global agenda and is regarded as essential for positive development in sectors such as health care, education, poverty reduction, food production and climate change. Decentralized, off-grid electrification is deemed an important complement to centralized grid extension. LÄS MER

  5. 5. What have residents got to do with it? : Variations in energy use and energy-related behaviours in single-family houses

    Författare :Carolina Hiller; Jesper Arfvidsson; Thorbjörn Laike; Avdelningen för Byggnadsfysik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; energy use variations; energy-related behaviour; single-family houses; households; residents; multi-disciplinary; field measurements; times-use diaries; energy use over time; load curves; power peaks; energy measurements; residential houses;

    Sammanfattning : To achieve global energy goals, energy use in residential buildings must decrease. The implementation of technical measures is crucial but alone it is not sufficient; residents need to change their behaviour as well. LÄS MER
