  1. 1. Environmental Monitoring by Multi-Spectral Lidar Techniques

    Författare :Petter Weibring; Atomfysik; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; non-linear optics; fluorescence spectroscopy; scattering; multi-spectral imaging; Atom- och molekylärfysik; atmospheric pollution; Atomic and molecular physics; laser; remote sensing; lidar; DIAL; Fysicumarkivet A:2002:Weibring;

    Sammanfattning : Multi-spectral lidar (light detection and ranging) techniques have been developed and employed in various environmental studies, ranging from concentration mapping of volcanic emissions to fluorescence imaging of historical monuments. In both absorption measurements of gaseous species and fluorescence imaging of stones, multiple wavelength excitation and multiple wavelength detection have been applied. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Colorimetric and Multispectral Image Acquisition

    Författare :Daniel Nyström; Björn Kruse; Carl-Magnus Fahlcrantz; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Color imaging; Multispectral imaging; Spectral reconstruction; Device characterization; Image analysis; Bildanalys;

    Sammanfattning : The trichromatic principle of representing color has for a long time been dominating in color imaging. The reason is the trichromatic nature of human color vision, but as the characteristics of typical color imaging devices are different from those of human eyes, there is a need to go beyond the trichromatic approach. 3. 3. High Resolution Analysis of Halftone Prints : A Colorimetric and Multispectral Study

    Författare :Daniel Nyström; Björn Kruse; Markku Hauta- Kasari; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Color imaging; Multispectral imaging; Halftone print; Dot gain; Image analysis; Bildanalys;

    Sammanfattning : To reproduce color images in print, the continuous tone image is first transformed into a binary halftone image, producing various colors by discrete dots with varying area coverage. In halftone prints on paper, physical and optical dot gains generally occur, making the print look darker than expected, and making the modeling of halftone color reproduction a challenge. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Bonadsmåleri under lupp: Spektroskopiska analyser av färg och teknik i sydsvenska bonadsmålningar 1700-1870

    Sammanfattning : The objects of this PhD thesis are Southern Swedish painted wall-hangings: folk art paintings from the 18th and 19th centuries. The aim and objective of the study are: to investigate the construction and manufacturing processes of the painted wall-hangings; to identify both the painting materials and other substances employed; and, to document painting techniques used by different painters within this painted wall-hanging tradition. 5. 5. Hyperspectral Image Generation, Processing and Analysis

    Författare :Hamed Hamid Muhammed; Ewert Bengtsson; Tommy Lindell; Erkki Oja; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Bildanalys; hyperspectral imaging; colour filter mosaics; remote sensing; crop reflectance; surface water quality; disease severity; plant density; linear system of equations; waste water detection; chlorophyll a; suspended paticulate matter; weighted fixed neural networks; weighted incremental neural networks; camera spectrometer; Bildanalys; Image analysis; Bildanalys;

    Sammanfattning : Hyperspectral reflectance data are utilised in many applications, where measured data are processed and converted into physical, chemical and/or biological properties of the target objects and/or processes being studied. It has been proven that crop reflectance data can be used to detect, characterise and quantify disease severity and plant density. LÄS MER
