  1. 1. Metoder att välja korrektioner vid fuktberäkningar med variabelt utomhusklimat

    Författare :Eva Harderup; Avdelningen för Byggnadsfysik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; moisture flow; Moisture; numerical modelling; calculation model; moisture distribution; non-linear moisture flow; external climate; moisture calculations; corrections; Building construction; periodic boundary condition; reference year; Byggnadsteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Determination of the design conditions for moisture resistance requires in a Moisture Design number of different moisture calculations to be made in order to determine the moisture status within, or on the surface of, a structure. The objective of this work has been to ascertain how to allow for variations in climate data in order to be able to determine the most unfavourable moisture status likely to be encountered during the life of a building. 2. 2. Moisture Conditions and Frost Resistance of Concrete in Hydraulic Structures

    Författare :Martin Rosenqvist; Avdelningen för Byggnadsmaterial; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Hydraulic Structures; Hydro Power; Concrete Dams; Concrete; Frost Resistance; Scaling; Spalling; Moisture Absorption; Macroscopic Ice Lens Growth;

    Sammanfattning : Owing to the winter conditions in Sweden, the effects of frost action may have a considerable impact on the deterioration of concrete. Both superficial and internal damage, which are suspected to have been caused by frost action, have been found in concrete in hydraulic structures. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Cellulose-fiber-based thermal insulation materials with fungal resistance, improved water resistance and reaction-to-fire properties

    Författare :Chao Zheng; Monica Ek; Dongfang Li; Lars Wågberg; Folke Björk; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :LANTBRUKSVETENSKAPER; AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; biorefinery; birch bark; cellulose; reaction-to-fire properties; fungal resistance; thermal insulation; water resistance; Fiber- och polymervetenskap; Fibre and Polymer Science;

    Sammanfattning : Thermal insulation materials made from natural fibrous materials, such as cellulose fibers, have advantages over others from a sustainability point of view. However, cellulosic materials are generally prone to mold and absorb moisture, and these have negative effects on the insulation properties, the durability of insulation materials, and interior air quality. 4. 4. Moisture content profiles and surface phenomena during drying of wood

    Författare :Anders Rosenkilde; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :computer tomography; diffusion; magnetic resonance; moisture measurement; moisture profiles; surface emission; wood drying;

    Sammanfattning : Timber drying is one of the most important processes whenmanufacturing sawn timber products. The drying processinfluences deformations, surface checking, discoloration andhence, the product quality and the manufacturing costs. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Critical Moisture Conditions for Mould Growth on Building Materials

    Författare :Pernilla Johansson; Avdelningen för Byggnadsfysik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; mould; critical moisture level; building material; relative humidity; mould resistance; crawl space; attic;

    Sammanfattning : Materials that are stored or used in damp climates may be subject to mould growth. However, all materials are not equally susceptible to mould growth. For each specific material, there is a critical moisture level. If this is exceeded, there is a risk that mould fungi will develop on the material. LÄS MER
