  1. 1. Structural Health Monitoring of Bridges : Model-free damage detection method using Machine Learning

    Författare :Cláudia Neves; Raid Karoumi; John Leander; Ignacio Gonzalez; Eleni Chatzi; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Structural Health Monitoring; Machine Learning; Damage detection; Model-free based method; Artificial Neural Networks; Gaussian Process; Cost optimization; Byggvetenskap; Civil and Architectural Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : This is probably the most appropriate time for the development of robust and reliable structural damage detection systems as aging civil engineering structures, such as bridges, are being used past their life expectancy and beyond their original design loads. Often, when a significant damage to the structure is discovered, the deterioration has already progressed far and required repair is substantial. LÄS MER

  2. 2. On Fault Detection, Diagnosis and Monitoring for Induction Motors

    Författare :Mohammed Obaid Mustafa; Mohamed El Hachemi Benbouzid; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Model based fault detection and diagnosis; Model free fault detection; Set Membership Identification SMI ; Uncertainty Bounds Violation Method; Model based Support Vector Classification; Linear and Nonlinear Classification; Minimum Volume Ellipsoid method; Broken Rotor Bars; Faults of Induction Motors; Three phase induction motor; Reglerteknik; Control Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, multiple methods and different approaches have been established and evaluated successfully, in order to detect and diagnose the faults of induction motors (IMs). The aim of this thesis is to present novel fault detection and isolation methods for the case of induction machines that would have the merit to be implemented online and being characterized by specific novel capabilities, when compared with the existing techniques. 3. 3. Departure-Based Intrusion Detection

    Författare :Wissam Aoudi; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Singular Spectrum Analysis; Industrial Control Systems; Intrusion Detection; Departure Detection; Stealthy Attacks; PASAD;

    Sammanfattning : Industrial Control Systems (ICS) combine information technology with operation technology to monitor or control physical industrial processes via computer-based programs and often operate on critical infrastructures. As such, compromised or maliciously operated ICS can cause devastating consequences on society at large. LÄS MER

  4. 4. The reinforcement learning method : A feasible and sustainable control strategy for efficient occupant-centred building operation in smart cities

    Författare :Ross May; Kenneth Carling; Mengjie Han; Pascal Rebreyend; Zoltan Nagy; Högskolan Dalarna; []

    Sammanfattning : Over half of the world’s population lives in urban areas, a trend which is expected to only grow as we move further into the future. With this increasing trend in urbanisation, challenges are presented in the form of the management of urban infrastructure systems. LÄS MER

  5. 5. A tiny glimpse into the human brain using model-free analysis for resting-state fMRI data

    Författare :Yanlu Wang; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Resting-state functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) acquires four dimensional data that indirectly depicts human brain activity. Within these four dimensional datasets reside resting-state functional connectivity networks (RFNs), depicting how the human brain is organized functionally. LÄS MER
