    Sammanfattning : In my doctoral thesis, I diversify so-called deviant behavior of children by means of a critical concept of nihilism and lead them back to a certain intellectual origin, namely, to the idealistic thinking tradition, which leads to the Philosophy of Lack and Not. I see this philosophy in the theories of Lacan and Merleau-Pontys, diametrically opposed to the idealistic thinking tradition. LÄS MER

    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Merleau-Ponty; flesh; body; humanism; phenomenology; French philosophy; the post-war period; history of ideas;

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation begins with a question: What is the meaning of ‘flesh’ [chair] in Maurice Merleau-Ponty’s The visible and the invisible? In answering this question, I try to grasp, not only the manifold meanings of flesh in The visible and the invisible, but also the reasons why the meaning of this concept cannot be neatly encompassed. Starting from Merleau-Ponty’s understanding of philosophical language, I explore how the concept of flesh works as a linguistic concept, and how it is meaningful because of its ability to call already established meanings into question. Författare :Andreas Nordlander; Centrum för teologi och religionsvetenskap; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES;

    Sammanfattning : This work stages a conversation between the French phenomenological philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty and philosophical theology, specifically as developed along an Augustinian trajectory. As the conversation unfolds, the outline of a new ontology is progressively sketched out – one that seeks to preserve the integrity of human beings as part of the natural world, as well as the integrity of the natural world in the presence of human existence.
