  1. 1. Local measures for probabilistic networks

    Författare :Amin Kaveh; Matteo Magnani; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Computer Science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Modeling and analysis of imperfection in network data is essential in many applications such as protein–protein interaction networks, ad-hoc networks and social influence networks. In the study of imperfect network data, three issues have to be considered: first the type of imperfection, second the aspects of networks such as existence of nodes/edges or attributes of nodes/edges in which imperfection occurs and third the theory that has been used to represent imperfection. 2. 2. Modelling and Analysis of Probabilistic Networks

    Författare :Amin Kaveh; Matteo Magnani; Christian Rohner; Aristides Gionis; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Probabilistic Networks; Local Measures; Modelling; Clustering; Computer Science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : As empirical data collection and inference is often an imperfect process, and many systems can be represented as networks, it is important to develop modelling and analysis methods for imperfect network data. The main focus of this dissertation is the probabilistic network model G = (V, E, p) in which each edge is associated with an independent existence probability. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Toward Privacy-Preserving Decentralised Systems

    Författare :Guillermo Rodríguez-Cano; Sonja Buchegger; Johan Boye; Matteo Magnani; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; decentralised information systems; distributed systems; privacy; social networks; decentraliserade informationssystem; distribuerade system; integritet; sociala nätverk; sistemas de información descentralizados; sistemas distribuidos; privacidad; redes sociales; Computer Science; Datalogi;

    Sammanfattning : Privacy enhancing technologies have proven to be a beneficial area of research lessening the threats users' privacy in centralised systems such as online social networks. Decentralised solutions have been proposed to extend the control that users have over their data as opposed to the centralised massive collection of personal and sensitive data. LÄS MER
